Now we always look for a bargain rail book and there are plenty to read. Looking round the other day we found a bargain on Kindle which got us excited. This book is about the interesting train line from Preston to Longridge. The journey was about 8 miles but had many interesting purposes. The title is: All Stations to Longridge: A History of the Preston to Longridge Branch Line and Associated Railways Kindle Edition
It’s got 393 pages and the author has spent many hours researching and writing this. Now we are kindle fans. You can have it on so many devices it’s great but not for everyone. The paperback comes in at £21 and Kindle edition at £7.49. The book is packed with some great pictures which will be preserved in this book forever. We will leave it there and go read it. But first impressions matter and it looks great.
