The Rail Driver Simulator console is piece of hardware which just adds class to any Train Simulator. It is a good size and it is very easy to configure and it’s been around a while.
The console its self is quite big and very robust. There is no complicated wiring just a USB a power cable and a sound cable. So, after you have done the cabling, you must install your PC with the driver software. Go to Raildriver.com and download the software you require for the relevant train sim you have.
You have the choice of 32bit and 64bit driver versions once installed. So, choose your version and the screen will show a box that asks you to calibrate your unit (Only Once). Its simple just follow the instructions. Once calibrated open your steam GUI and start your sim but click the driver you want first.
So, all we did was to see what was working. Surprisingly all leavers worked and all calibrated controls worked. So basically, we had an operational console in the space of 10 mins. All buttons worked and it was amazing that we where able to use it so quick. So just remember every time you want to use the console you have to start the rail driver software first either the 32bit or the 64 bit depending on the choice of software started..
There are YouTube videos to with many help videos to reference.
